Trimmu Barrage (also known as Head Trimmu) - Picnic spot for people of Jhang and Toba Tek Singh

 

You are living in District Jhang or in Toba Tek Singh and wants to beat the upcoming summer season ? whats your plan ? no plan yet than read my this blog and make you mind.

No of people use to say that there is no worth visiting place in Jhang or in Toba Tek Singh but i am not agree with this statement. Just think about the cool and fresh water of Trimmu Barrage during summer season of Punjab which more cooler than any swimming pool. Hope you got the idea how much relax you will feel.

Barrage was constructed on river Chenab to control its flow and flood situation. It was constructed in ninteen thirties. The Distance of Trimmu from Jhang is approximately 26 KM and from toba tek singh it is about 55 km.

Lets start with the attraction at trimmu head. Most of the people understand the taste of fresh river water fish and fish of Trimmu is among the most liked fishes. Mori, Rahu, Thaila, Mulle, Khaga, Kalbans and sul are avalaible in large quantity. You have to bring along good quality of fish rode, food for fish and administrative luggage. 

First you have to hire a boat with experienced individual who should have how know of river. Take some snacks on boat because you will surely feel empty stomach while fishing. 3 hours before Sunset is considered as best time for fishing. After enjoy cool water of barrage and 2 hours of fishing you have to start cooking your fish BBQ right after the sunset. Punjabi music will add more fun in your live BBQ.
