Haleji Lake - Sindh (An emerging tourist spot)

 

Haleji Lake is an emerging tourist spot in sindh, which located at 80 Km distance from karachi. This is history lake which was created during second world war for water storage but with the passage of time it becomes 3 time of its original  shape.

Haleji Lake is also know as largest growing wildlife sanctuary in sindh. Every year a no of unique birds use to visit this peaceful lake. Apart from birds large no crocodiles are present in the lake and few are placed in cage by the management. 

On the initiative of sindh government , guest house are constructed near the lake for facilitating tourist from far flung areas. Sun rise and sun set at Haleji lake is worth watching.
