Wagha Border Lahore - A Perfect Visiting spot on 23rd March

Every year 23rd March is celebrated with zeal and enthusiasm in all over the Pakistan. Being a Pakistani we feel proud and we should recall our history. I am planning to do so and how should i celebrate ?? As i love trvelling and adventure so i think, i should visit such place which make me feel motivated.

Lahore was the place where the Pakistan resolution was passed, so i made a mind that i will surely visit lahore. It is also famous because of its historical places. But which place in lahore? which place or event can reflect the patriotism and zeal? i guess none other than the Wagha Border Parade.

Lowering of Flags at both sides (Pakistan and India) near sunset is routine ceremony, which held at Wagah Border. This parade or ceremony is very famous among people of Pakistan and in friendly countries. A contingent of 12 to 16 well dressed and good heighted soldiers from Pakistan rangers participate in this parade. Their way of dressing from head to toe shows their proudness of wearing this uniform. All soldiers hold their weapon with proud and perform colorful marching/ drills by taking their legs as high as possible. This parade is a symbol of rivalry, brotherhood and cooperation between two great nation.
